Figure 3. Activity ratios by age and gender in Canada, 2002/2003 (Ref. 36). Activity ratios compare the relative amount of work two groups of physicians do, as measured by fee-for-service activity, taking into account which provinces in which they practise in and the which specialties they practise. A ratio of 1.0 represents a typical full-time physician in fee-for-service practice
